Growing up, I have witnessed reporters in sticky situations, whether they were in the middle of a hurricane, or in the middle of a snow storm.

While the images are comical, we forget to appreciate the actual job that the reporter is doing. I know you couldn't find me in any of those scenarios. Which is exactly why I chose sports.

While I though I was off the from any bad weather, Russian sports presenter, Evgeniy Evnevich showed the world the true meaning of dedication. Evnevich was on the sidelines before the big soccer game that was taking place in the VEB Arena before Moscow's home game against Akhmat Gronzy, when a watering system gave him and the world a wonderful surprise.

The sprinklers were turned on, and on cue, the water shot directly in the reporters direction. While you would think a person who just got sprayed in the face on live television would possibly be cursing up a storm, the reporter took a deep breath, and continued with his report.

Not only did he get sprayed in the head once, but once he stepped out of the way, the sprinkler managed to attack him a second time.

He told the PA news agency that it wasn't possible to move, since he didn't see where the sprinkler was coming from, but he understood that he was live, and that he should keep talking no matter what.

Evenevich surprised everyone when he kept going, but it comes to show that he was passionate, not only about his job, but the people at home who were watching him.

The reporter could have stopped talking, or cut the set, but he choose to keep communicating with his audience, and deliver the rest of his story.

Once again, this is why I choose a profession where I am protected from rain and sprinklers.
